CERN discovers Faster Than Light particles

23 Sep

So CERN’s experiments in Sweden discovered Neutrino particles travelling faster than light. They’ve recently held a conference about their findings, which just ended not too long ago. To sum it up, this discovery is one of the most important discoveries ever and could potentially lead to FTL travel for us, and could prove a lot of science (And Einstein) wrong. However, they’re puzzled by the finding and think that it occurred too soon for it to make any sense (To my understanding, at least) and they plan to disprove what happened and attempt to recreate it as much as possible until there’s no doubt.

So there’s no real reason to get all hyped up, but there’s good reason for hope. This is way cooler than a few bacteria in space.
